Grace Coddington 's "Pumpkin" Line for Balenciaga

Grace Coddington who is a former model and the creative director of American Vogue magazine has collaborated with Nicolas Ghesquiere for Balenciaga to create a line dedicated to a special furry friend.  The line called "Pumpkin" is named after her cat in which it features sketches of her darling cat modeling looks from Balenciaga in the last decade! The line is set to be launched during Fashion's Night Out and here is a description of what is to be expected:

Central to the new accessories line is the “Pumpkin Papier” tote bag ($1,000). Produced in either ecru or bright pumpkin canvas with black calfskin trim, the bag is decorated with a playful print of Pumpkin the Cat wearing Balenciaga by Nicolas Ghesquière.

Two printed “Pumpkin” scarves round out the collection, one in a classic silk twill and one in fringed wool and silk ($395 and $495, respectively).

Known to be a huge cat lover, Grace Coddington has even published a book in 2008 with partner Didier Malige, The Catwalk Cats.  There are adorable sketches of these kitties modeling looks from top designers! (see below)
